    A recreation therapist (RT), sometimes referred to as a certified therapeutic recreation specialist by (CTRS) when certified nationally through the National Council for Therapeutic Recreation Certification (NCTRC), works with individuals who have mental, physical, emotional and/or developmental disabilities.
